I have been itching to get back outside and play with my DJI Spark drone. In fact, I spent the whole morning yesterday going back over YouTube training videos to make sure I had not forgotten how to operate the thing. For those of you unfamiliar with drones, they are truly amazing pieces of technology. Also, in my short experience with the Spark, it isn’t an easy hobby to master right away. I started last year, when we returned to Italy (I bought the drone in Michigan) and managed to take it out half a dozen times before winter came. Now that the weather is perfect for flying, I’m really excited to be out back in the “pilot’s seat!”
In future posts, I’ll talk more in detail about the drone. For now, I hope you to enjoy the video I shot yesterday in the hills west of Bevagna which lies about 6 miles from our apartment here in Foligno. We pass this spot several times a year when we take the tandem for a ride. Enjoy!
