Viniamo - Eno Lab, the Perfect Place for a Celebration!
The Tandem Spirits had been going back and forth about what to do for our 40th anniversary for months. We thought about having a big party at a restaurant. We considered traveling to someplace new and exciting. We thought about simply enjoying a quiet dinner together at home. Finally our friend Silvia the owner of Viniamo, a wine bar here in Foligno suggested we have a party at her place. She and her Chef, Lucia, put together a sample menu and a wine list and the next thing we knew we were sending out invitations to our friends and colleagues.

We brought our Wedding Album, our 30 year party album and the albums from our cross-country bike tour for people to peruse. James created a fun playlist with music from 1983. Since it was a Monday evening and we did not do a big dinner, we thought people would come for a couple of hours, then go home for dinner. We were pleasantly surprised that most of our guests stayed till midnight.
We received some thoughtful gifts as well. James’ boss Tiziana could not attend, but she gave us a lovely pair of wine goblets. Our new friends Giuseppe and Kelly gave us a terrarium with a little tree inside. Our other colleagues chipped in and gave us some wine and grappa, plus a visit to a Spa and a Balloon Ride. We were overwhelmed by their love and generosity.
